2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, mobile phone number, email address, city, and anything you send us in a message, email, or job application form (for example, CDL class, years of experience, and availability).
- Messaging records: the content, date, and time of text messages and calls you exchange with our business numbers, and your SMS opt-in and opt-out status.
- Basic website data: our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may automatically log technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and to keep the site running.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to driver job inquiries and applications and to guide you through the recruiting process;
- To communicate about dispatch, loads, schedules, and paperwork with drivers and carriers we work with;
- To send scheduling and operational messages to staff at stores and businesses we manage;
- To answer your questions, provide customer care, and keep records required by law.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
4. SMS / text messaging and your mobile information
You opt in to receive text messages from us when you text our number first, give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text (for example, on our job application form or in person), or reply to a message from us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing logistics@huangjerry.com. No mobile information or SMS opt-in data and consent will be shared, sold, or rented with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing categories described in Section 5 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as our text messaging and phone provider, email provider, and website host. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Trucking companies we recruit for — only your application details (not your SMS opt-in data or consent), and only when you apply for a position with that company.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
6. Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. California residents may have additional rights under California law. To make a request, email logistics@huangjerry.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Children
Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
